Introduction
Online games should be fun. But sometimes other players are cruel - with words, by sabotaging the team, or by coordinating raids together.
Signs
- Voice chat full of mockery about your looks, race, or gender.
- You get kicked from a party or guild without explanation.
- A group plans to "raid" your account or game.
- Players spread your gameplay screenshots outside the game.
What you can do
- Mute toxic players - you don't have to listen.
- Block and report inside the game; most platforms have a Report button.
- Leave the match if you feel unsafe. No win is worth your wellbeing.
- Tell a friend or parent - playing with people you trust is safer.
When to get help
If threats spill out of the game into your real life (DMs, school) or include physical threats, tell an adult and file a report on HeroFriends.
After you read
If you or someone you care about is going through this, you can file a confidential report. Every report is handled by trained HeroFriends officers under the Anti-Bullying Act 2026.
